Students will share, analyze and develop action plans for their communities.
These videoconferences will be forums moderated by PeaceTech Inc. similar to town hall meetings. iASEAN will connect campuses in Iligan City, Philippines; Jakarta, Indonesia; Marawi City, Philippines; Phnom Penh, Cambodia; Sarawak, Malaysia; Tawi-Tawi, Philippines; and Zamboanga City, Philippines
The Thomas Jefferson Information Center (TJIC) of the US Embassy Manila and PeaceTech are program partners. Assisting will be YSEALI or the “Young South East Asian Leaders Initiative” members and alumni.
iASEAN Youth Connect is part of the TJIC initiative to provide internet for American Corner partners in Mindanao, where many youth are vulnerable to extremism.
